Lauren Taylor

My name is Lauren Taylor Anikis.

For me, photography started as a way to connect with my track team, however it has now turned into my biggest hobby and greatest passion. 

I soon discovered and fell in love with the world of broadcast journalism and live TV.  I now run production for our student run live newscast and our student run sportscast.  I have had the opportunity to work with John Yang of PBS Newshour and watch the video I produced air on national TV (you can see that video here!).  

I hope to pursue a career in storytelling and use my talents and passions to make the world a better place. I love researching and taking time to put together long videos that tell the stories of the marginalized.
